Travel Information
By road
The area is connected to the national motorway network via the M56 east of Chester, which connects to the M53 and A55 expressway leading to Denbigh via the A525, Conwy, Beaumaris via the A545 and Caernarfon via the A487.
For a scenic drive the A5 passes through the Vale of Llangollen and the Snowdonia National Park, the A470 from Conwy along the Vale of Conwy is a recommended scenic route to Betws-y-Coed with its picturesque Swallow Falls.
By bus/coach
There are National Express coach services from both airports to Caernarfon, Chester, and Conwy. Bangor is the nearest stop for Beaumaris. There are local bus services between Bangor and Beaumaris.Rhyl is the nearest stop for Denbigh. There are local bus services between Rhyl and Denbigh.

By rail
There are rail services between Manchester Airport and Chester via Crewe. You can travel by rail from Liverpool to Chester. (A bus links the airport to Liverpool city centre).
There are rail services from Chester to Conwy and across Anglesey to Holyhead alighting at Bangor station for local bus services to Caernarfon, Rhyl for local bus services to Denbigh and Llanfair PG station for local bus services to Beaumaris.
